Out of Yorkshire, for the country around it
Patterson Dirtscapes LLC is a dirt work outfit based in Yorkshire, Ohio, up in the corner where Darke, Mercer, and Auglaize counties come together. Lawn grading and seeding, stump grinding, demolition, driveways, concrete breaking, augering: the work rural properties actually need, done by the person who owns the company.
This is farm country, and the work reflects it. One week it is a builder-rough yard in Versailles that needs finish grade and seed; the next it is a bin pad, a fence line worth of post holes, and a shed that should have come down two owners ago. We like the variety, and we built the equipment list around it.
Why owner-operated matters
There is no crew you have never met and no salesman between you and the machine. The person who walks your property and gives you the number is the person in the seat when the work happens. That is why the details get done right, because the name on the equipment is the name on the work.
It also means straight answers. If a job is not worth doing, or not worth doing yet, or not ours to do, you will hear that on the first phone call. Around here you get maybe one chance to treat somebody wrong before the whole township hears about it, and we intend to keep it that way.
