“Dirt work” covers everything nobody else wants to do: the driveway that needs to come out, the pad that needs to go in, the pile that needs to leave, the lane that turns to soup every March. It is the middle of our name because it is the middle of our business. The aerial photo on this page is one of our finished pads.
Actual Patterson job
Cracked, heaved, or just in the wrong place: we tear out old gravel, asphalt, or concrete drives, haul the material off, and grade the base so whatever comes next, new stone, new concrete, or lawn, starts flat and drains right.
Equipment pads, barn approaches, grain bin pads, and farm lanes that stay firm through a wet spring instead of rutting up. The difference between gravel that lasts and gravel that disappears is the base work underneath it, and base work is exactly what we do.
Spoil piles from other projects, berms in the wrong place, high spots cut down, low spots filled. If dirt needs to move on your property, from a few buckets to a few hundred yards, that is the business we are in.
Every pad, lane, and grade we cut is shaped with water in mind, because water is what wrecks dirt work. Crown it, pitch it, get the water off it, and the job lasts. Skip that and you are redoing it in two years.
For lanes, pads, and most farm applications, a properly based gravel job costs a fraction of concrete and is easy to maintain. Concrete wins for house driveways you want to shovel clean. We are happy to talk through it, we only do the dirt and gravel side, so you will get a straight opinion.
Yes, though if your lane is rutting there is usually a base or drainage reason, and stone alone is a bandage. We will tell you which situation you have before you spend money.
From a half-day cleanup to full site prep. If a project is beyond what our equipment does efficiently, we will say so up front rather than camp on your property.
Most projects touch more than one trade. Everything below is the same phone call.
